Learn Guitar Fast
Learn Guitar Fast By Guitar Lover
From the chords to the scales, I know you want to learn guitar fast! I know. When I got my first guitar, I wanted to learn everything about playing guitar. Maybe you want to be up on stage jamming away a wicked solo, or maybe you want to just be playing smooth chords as a rhythm guitarist. Whatever the reason you want to learn guitar, any guitar player knows that when you start how to learn guitar, finding the right starting point is by far one of the hardest things.
There are so many different methods of learning guitar, not to mention the endless chords, riffs, scales, picking, etc! That is why it is so important that you start playing guitar with a good basis. Most guitar players that have been playing guitar for a few years are still unsatisfied with their progress. They feel like they're still at the starting point. This is mainly caused because they didn't build up a strong foundation from the beginning. I myself was a perfect example of not starting how to learn guitar the right way. The secrets to learn guitar fast are mostly based on the foundation. If you have a good foundation, you will definitely advance much faster in your journey of learning guitar. I have found these three factors to be the best basis when you start learning how to play the guitar:
1. Listening: Ear training is a MUST basic training technique that every guitar learner should have. But most avoid this. They think it is a boring, time-consuming job. This type of thinking is what will hinder your ability to play the guitar well. Without good listening skills, you are unable to advance to a higher level. There are many ways to train your ears. One thing you can do is just listen to your favorite songs and try to figure out the song by yourself. This is difficult, but it builds excellent listening skills very fast. I would recommend getting a guitar learning program on the internet and then advance to trying to learn songs by ear.
2. Daily practice: (Both fingers and ears) Daily practice is another important thing you must do(i.e. finger exercises, practice for the basic scales, etc.). If you want to learn guitar fast, it's in practice. I suggest that beginners practice pentatonic scales at the starting point because these scales are the simplest scales since they only have 5 tones. Try to practice 20 to 30 minutes daily. Remember that even just 20 minutes of concentrated practice is more effective than a few hours of inconsistent practice.
3. Get a Teacher: You may find either a private guitar teacher or guitar lessons on the internet. I recommend the latter. Did you know that almost all of the world's best guitar players were self-taught? That's right. And nowdays, we have the internet. You can get anything on the internet. There are a lot of guitar playing tips and programs online, but the best one that I have found is Guitarpro. This system has everything you will ever need to learn guitar fast from the beginning all the way to some very advanced techniques. I highly recommend this system over any other system including getting a teacher. You are you're best teacher.
Like I said, when you start to learn how to play guitar, make sure you are getting started off on the right foot. If you do, you will advance swiftly and enjoy it at the same time.
